Steps on How to grow Abay F1 Sweet Pepper Seeds

Nursery

Fill the seedling tray with loose cocopeat that has been soaked in water

Plant your bell pepper seeds a quarter of an inch deep.

Water your seed regularly after planting and place it where it will get enough sunlight so as to keep them warm( or place the seeds near a heating pad).

Note:

Keep your seeds in temperatures of at least 70 degrees Fahrenheit.

Harden off your seedlings before transplanting because bell pepper is vulnerable to transplant shock.

How to Hardening your Bell Pepper

Gently introduce your seedlings to field condition( external temperature) for small amounts of time per day at about 10 days before planting.

Increasing the amount of time they spend outdoors gradually. This helps your seedlings to adjust to the outside temperature and therefore, prevent wilting or stunted growth.

Transplanting

After one to three weeks of germination, your bell pepper seedlings are ready for transplanting

Keep your seedlings 18 to 24 inches apart.

Bury root ball of the seedling deep into the soil while ensuring that only the seedling leaves are above the soil

Note:

Transplanting should be done When your garden soil temperature has reached at least 65 degrees Fahrenheit (and night temperatures should be at least 60 degrees Fahrenheit).
