Application of Ridomil Gold Plus

RIDOMIL GOLD PLUS should be applied as a protective fungicide before Downy Mildew disease occurs. However, if the infection has already occurred, RIDOMIL GOLD PLUS should be applied as soon as possible after the infection period, preferably before oil spots appear, to
obtain optimum control of Downy Mildew.

Application Rate and Mixing of Ridomil Gold Plus

  • Use a sprayer designed to apply water volumes less than those required to reach the point of runoff and match the crop being sprayed.
  • Set up and operate the sprayer to achieve even coverage throughout the crop canopy using your chosen water volume.
  • Determine an appropriate dilute spray volume of 50g sachet to a 15 Litres Knapsack Sprayer.
  • While Spraying, continue agitation during spraying. Agitate vigorously from the bottom of the spray tank if the material is left to stand.
  • When using knapsack sprayers, pre-mix fungicide before adding it to the spray tank. Pour the pre-mix into the partly filled tank, add the remaining water, and stir vigorously.
  • Withholding Period:

For Leafy Vegetables: Do not harvest for 14 days after application.
For Fruit Vegetables and other crops: Do not harvest for 7 days after application.

Safety Precautions

  • Keep out of reach of children.
  • Read the label before use.
  • Avoid breathing mist/vapours/spray.
  • Use only outdoors or in a well-ventilated area.
  • Wash hands thoroughly after handling.
  • Do not eat, drink, or smoke when using this product.
  • Wear eye protection/face protection.
    If swallowed call a doctor/physician or go to the hospital if you feel unwell.
  • If on the skin, wash with plenty of soap and water.
  • If in the eyes, rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present, and easy to do. Continue rinsing.
  • Dispose of contents/containers to an approved waste management facility.
