Description:

The automatic syringe, which is a continuous and adjustable injector syringe used by veterinarians, is a of high quality that makes vaccination of birds and livestock seem easy to do. Veterinarians use it to get the work done professionally by administering vaccines and medications to poultry and other livestock. It effectively administers same fixed dosage to birds, without having to adjust the settings, even after a particular bird is being vaccinated and needed by the next bird.

Precautions/Instruction:

  • Start using by filling a big bowl with warm water mixed with soap.
  • Next is to unscrew the knob.
  • Make sure you separate the injection tube from the handle.
  • Soak both the injection tube and it’s handle in soapy water for between 5 to 6 minutes.
  • Now take out the injection tube and handle.
  • Assemble them neatly.
  • Once assembled out neatly, dip the syringe into soap water and pull in water several times, so as to wash inside the syringe.
  • You can then pour the soap water out by releasing the pull of the syringe.
  • Make sure to clean the big bowl, and fill it inturn with clean water.
  • You can now dip the syringe into clean water and pull in the water several times to wash it clean.
  • Dry it, so that it can be used again.
  • Note that there is also a possibility of the syringe piston not being smooth after a period of times it might have been used. It can therefore be lubricated with olive oil or other cooking oil.
  • After the use of live vaccine(s), the syringe should be immediately disinfected by carefully soaking the syringe into non-corrosive chemical disinfectant before cleaning with soap and water.
  • Try not to push and pull out the syringe rod very fast and rough, while injecting the drug. This is better so as not to over harm the animal.
