Abay F1 Sweet Pepper Seeds is an Open-pollinated variety of green to yellow bell pepper by Enza Zaden. It produces large 4 inches (95mm) of blocky gold fruits. Fruit maintain quality even as nighttime temperatures begin to drop. High resistance to bacterial leaf spot and tobacco Mosaic disease. It is a strong busy pepper that has strong field performance.

Steps on How to grow Abay F1 Sweet Pepper Seeds
Nursery
- Fill the seedling tray with loose cocopeat that has been soaked in water
- Plant your bell pepper seeds a quarter of an inch deep.
- Water your seed regularly after planting and place it where it will get enough sunlight so as to keep them warm( or place the seeds near a heating pad).
Note:
- Keep your seeds in temperatures of at least 70 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Harden off your seedlings before transplanting because bell pepper is vulnerable to transplant shock.
How to Hardening your Bell Pepper
- Gently introduce your seedlings to field condition( external temperature) for small amounts of time per day at about 10 days before planting.
- Increasing the amount of time they spend outdoors gradually. This helps your seedlings to adjust to the outside temperature and therefore, prevent wilting or stunted growth.
- Transplanting
- After one to three weeks of germination, your bell pepper seedlings are ready for transplanting
- Keep your seedlings 18 to 24 inches apart.
- Bury root ball of the seedling deep into the soil while ensuring that only the seedling leaves are above the soil
- Note:
- Transplanting should be done When your garden soil temperature has reached at least 65 degrees Fahrenheit (and night temperatures should be at least 60 degrees Fahrenheit).
- Well-draining soil is the most suitable for planting bell pepper.
