Lovol Disc Ridger consists of a heavy-duty tubular box frame, hitch system and discs. It is used for making irrigation banks for effective control of flood irrigation or bunds of the size and shape to match crop and soil conditions. The Discs are adjustable along the frame to vary bund width and height.
Ridger is a primary soil tillage machine that is mounted and trailed from the tractor’s hydraulic lifting unit and universal three-point linkage system. As per crop, it helps in making the perfect ridge and also helps in uprooting unwanted roots.
Disc Ridger Characteristics
- The discs allow the Ridger to penetrate even in the toughest land conditions. These discs/bunds are used for sowing crops, water management while also acting as walking paths and even boundaries in the field.
- Matchable with the tractor, furrows soil when patches rotate.
- Applicable for complex land, such as weedy land, heavy soil, farmland with bricks and stones
- Can cut off the stem of crops and overcome bricks and stones, etc.
