Imiforce Insecticide -250ml

This is an excellent, systematic foliar and soil insecticide which acts as contact and stomach poison in various crops such as cotton, cowpea, groundnut, soybean, vegetables, fruits and ornamentals.

Active Ingredient: Imidaclorid 200 g / L SL.

Family: Chloronicotinyl.

It includes imidacloprid as an active ingredient which is present in various formulations, a substance that mimics nicotine which is toxic to insects. Once ingested the nervous system is permanently damaged, this conducting in colony elimination.

Mode of action: Contact and Stomach action.

Imiforce is a systemic insecticide that translocates rapidly through plant tissues effective by contact or ingestion.

Target Pest: Sucking insects including ricehopper, leafhopper and planthoppers, aphids, thrips, mites, whitefly, soil insects, termites and some species of bitting insects such as rice water weevil and Colorado beetle, honeybees, predatory ground beetles and parasitoid wasps.

Crops: Rice, maize, cotton, cereals, sugar beet, potatotoes, vegetables, citrus fruit, pome fruit and stone fruit.

Also used to control fleas in dogs and cats.

Uses of Imiforce Insecticide

Imiforce has wide uses in commercial agriculture, horticulture, home garden and other applications.

Product can be used as a foliar spray, soil treatment, seed treatment, tree trunk injection and in various specialized delivery systems.

It is used to control sucking insects, some chewing insects including termites, soil insects, and fleas on pets.

Imidacloprid is the only available effective product for control of boxwood and holly leafminers.

Also, very effective in controlling white grubs in turf.

Numerous imidacloprid products are also registered for flea control on domestic animals, as well as various indoor pest control products.

In addition, it may be applied to structures, crops, soil.

Uses for individual products containing imidacloprid vary widely.

Usage Area

• Barrier treatments for existing buildings including domestic, industrial, government, and commercial premises;
• External barriers (only) around new buildings;
• Service poles and fence posts;
• Nests in wall cavities, poles, and trees;
• Reticulation systems:
• Perimeter and/or service penetration treatment;
• Complete under-slab installations.

Application Tips

• Consider Imiforce as part of a program where you should follow more steps;
• Inspect and locate nest where possible;
• Repair leaks and drainage to keep the warranty;
• Keep subfloor areas free from waste timber;
• Apply solid barrier treatment;
• Do not disturb the treated soil barrier in any way;
• Before applying the soil barrier, locate and treat the colony in the nest if existent;
• Inspect after applying treatment to confirm success;
• Annual inspections recommended.
• Be aware that applications have sometimes contributed to outbreaks of spider mites.
• Avoid application to flowering plants.

Precaution and Safety

• Minimize your exposure to pesticides.
• Avoid contact with eyes.
• Wear eye protection, long pants, a long-sleeved shirt, and a hat that can be washed after each use.
