Pepper Senay F1 seeds are fresh and moisture-free. They have good looks with a deep blocky shape when mature. In a favourable growing condition, the pepper has soft, smooth skin with an elongated shape. This Sweet Pepper retains its fruit size under intense growing conditions. They grow into a healthy, tall pepper crop with a nice dark green colour. It is medium to strong in vigor with a compact plant habit; easy fruit set ability resulting in high yield. Fruits are very blocky in shape, predominantly four lobed. Fruit color is medium green turning to attractive shiny yellow in its mature stage.

- You grow in a nursery for about 8-10 weeks before planting in an open space or farm.
How to grow Pepper
Starting Pepper Seed Indoors:
- Start pepper seed indoors 7 to 10 weeks before the date you intend to set seedlings into the garden.
- Sow 3 to 4 seeds to a pot or across flats.
- Sow seed ¼ to ½ inch (7-13 mm) deep.
- Germination soil temperature is 75-95°F (24-35°C); the optimum soil temperature for germinating seed is 85°F (29°C).
- Germination takes 7 to 10 days at 85°F (29°C) or warmer.
- Keep the seed starting mix just moist until seedlings emerge.
- Clip away the weaker seedlings once the strongest seedling is about 2 inches (5 cm) tall.
- Seedlings started indoors should be kept under grow light or in a sunny window after germination. Keep the indoor nighttime temperature above 62°F (17°C).
- Water to keep the seed starting mix from drying.
- Transfer seedlings to a larger container once they are 2 to 4 inches (5-10 cm) tall; be sure that seedlings have sufficient room for root growth. This process is called “potting up.” Continue to pot up seedlings as they outgrow containers—until they are transplanted into the garden or a very large container.
Note: Don’t overfertilize.
This tends to make the pepper plants develop lush foliage at the expense of fruit production. Peppers are light feeders. If you work 5-10-10 fertilizer into the soil prior to transplanting, that’s probably sufficient. You can also side-dress the plants with a light sprinkling of 5-10-10 when blossoming starts, just to give them a boost if needed.

Like cucumbers and summer squash, peppers are usually harvested at an immature stage. With traditional bell pepper plants, for example, the pepper is harvested when green even though most varieties will mature as red, orange, or yellow.
