Glory Agricultural Fungicide (Mancozeb 70% + Azoxystrobin 5% WG) is a novel broad-spectrum fungicide with protectant and systemic properties. It controls powdery mildew, early late and late blight, rust and smuts, downy mildew and leaf spots. It has phytotoxic effect on the crops.
Glory Fungicide is a double protective action, translaminar and seismic. It has protective, curative, eradicating, non-sporulating action.
MODE OF ACTION
Mancozeb is a protectant fungicide belonging to the dithiocarbamate family, acting by contact only, with good persistence on the vegetative parts of the plant. It inhibits spore germination, acts by inhibiting the activity of enzymes interrupting the biochemical processes essential for breathing and energy transport in the cells of the fungus.
Azoxystrobin (strobilurin) blocks electron transfer in complex III of the respiratory system, and inhibits early inhibits mitochondrial respiration by blocking the transfer of electrons between cytochrome b and cytochrome c1 at the oxidation site of ubiquinone.
